One-bedroom boho style apartment design featuring light shades and natural materials, that inspire a feel of peace and comfort. The layout plan features a living room with a kitchen area, a spacious bedroom, a bathroom, a hallway and a laundry room.
The living room has a typical layout plan complete with a kitchen area, a dining area and a sitting recreation area. The color palette features shades of white and light oak, with accents in dark green and distinct details in black. The floor is set in white marble tiles in the kitchen area, and laminate for the rest of the room. The walls are finished in plain white paint, except for the one behind the TV, which is set in white accent bricks. The decorative wood beams on the ceiling are another exciting detail in the design. The windows are complete with horizontal wood blinds and white blackout curtains.
The kitchen area has a U-shaped layout with a raised bar counter that can accommodate a party of two. The kitchen cabinets have shaker style doors in two different colors – white and dark green. The countertop is set in natural oak, and the backsplash is tiled. All appliances are integrated with the exception of the small microwave oven, which sits in a niche under the bar counter. A wall cabinet with glass doors is designed right above the sink. An open shelf wine rack puts a decorative finish to the whole row of wall cabinets. Lighting options include a wicker flush mount light in the main kitchen area, and a pendant right above the bar counter. Under cabinet LED lighting is also designed.
The dining table is small in size but can be extended to accommodate a larger group of people. It would normally feature two comfortable upholstered chairs in dark green, but two extra folding chairs can be found on the wall nearby. A pendant light with a vintage feel hangs over the dining table.
The L-shaped sofa is set in a neutral light grey color. The coffee tables can easily be stacked together. The carpet features an ethnic pattern in black and white, and the throw pillows are set in neutral colored geometric patterns and dark green fabric. The white TV unit is complete with a tall glass door cabinet of the same set, as well as with three light wood wall shelves. There is some room left for a comfy lounge chair, as well. The wall behind the whole furniture group is designed as a feature wall, finished with white bricks. Lighting options include a wicker flush mount lamp and two floor lamps – one by the armchair and one by the sofa. Additional decorative garland lighting can be hung on the wood beams on the ceiling.
The bedroom is set in light neutrals – plain white and light wood, matched with pastel pink. The floor is laid with laminate parquet and the walls are painted. The accent wall behind the bed features a geometric detail – a pink colored circle against a plain white background.
Lighting options include a chandelier with wicker lampshades, a pair of wall sconces by the bed, and another wall mounted light above the dressing table mirror. The windows are finished with wood blinds and white curtains.
The room is furnished with an upholstered bed with storage, a fitted wardrobe with sliding doors, oak bedside tables and desk of the same set, a small dressing table and dresser in white, a ladder bookcase and large wall mirror.
The bathroom layout includes a shower area, a bathroom vanity with sink, and a toilet. The room is tiled in white marble tiles matched with black and white accent tiles.
The shower area is separated from the rest of the space with a clear glass screen. A wall with built in niches is designed at one end of the shower area. The bathroom sink sits on top of a bathroom vanity cabinet. A wall cabinet with mirror doors provides additional storage space. The toilet is wall mounted and complete with a built-in tank.
The hallway is laid with white marble tiles, and the walls are set in two different colors. The bottom part of the walls is dark grey, where any accidental spots and stains will not show as much. The upper part of the walls is plain white so that this otherwise tight and dark space will look more bright and inviting.
The hallway is finished with a wall mounted coat rack, a wardrobe with shoe shelves, a round stool, and a wall mirror. A row of spotlights will illuminate the space.
